Return Policy

Effective Date: May 2025

At JR Copier, we are committed to your satisfaction with our office equipment and services. We understand that sometimes a product may not meet your expectations, and we want to make the return process as straightforward as possible.

Equipment Purchases

New Equipment

  • Return Period: 30 days from delivery date
  • Condition: Equipment must be in original condition with all packaging, manuals, cables, and accessories
  • Restocking Fee: 20% restocking fee applies to all returns
  • Requirements: Original receipt and valid reason for return required
  • Exceptions: Custom-configured equipment and special orders are non-returnable

Refurbished Equipment

  • Return Period: 14 days from delivery date
  • Condition: Equipment must be in the same condition as delivered
  • Restocking Fee: 25% restocking fee applies
  • Warranty: All refurbished equipment comes with warranty as specified at time of purchase

Leased Equipment

  • Leased equipment is subject to the terms and conditions of your lease agreement
  • Early termination fees may apply
  • Please contact our leasing department for specific return procedures

Rental Equipment

  • Rental returns are governed by your rental agreement terms
  • Equipment must be returned in the same condition as received
  • Damage fees may apply for equipment returned with damage beyond normal wear and tear

Supplies and Consumables

  • Unopened Items: May be returned within 30 days with receipt for full refund
  • Opened Items: Toner, ink, and other consumables cannot be returned once opened
  • Compatibility: We are not responsible for compatibility issues if incorrect model information was provided by customer

Return Process

  1. Contact Us First: Call (763) 509-0054 or email info@jrcopiermn.com before returning any item
  2. Obtain RMA Number: A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number is required for all returns
  3. Package Carefully: Use original packaging when possible to prevent damage during shipping
  4. Ship to Our Location: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error

Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of receipt of returned equipment
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

Defective Equipment

  • Equipment found to be defective within warranty period will be repaired or replaced at no charge
  • Please refer to your warranty documentation for specific coverage details

Service Agreements

  • Service agreement cancellations are subject to the terms outlined in your service contract
  • Refunds for unused service periods will be prorated

Exclusions

This return policy does not apply to:

  • Equipment damaged due to misuse, abuse, or negligence
  • Equipment with removed or altered serial numbers
  • Software products
  • Equipment purchased from third parties
